The boil order was lifted for Aqua IL customers (mostly Kankakee county) yesterday evening. I’m planning to give it a few more days for the system to be cleared out a bit more before I’ll trust the water for consumption.

oh man the Chicago City Council meeting ongoing…well, they are clearing the galleries….is really painful. both in process, goofy alders with things late in the process, unclear on procedural matters, angry comments. it’s really painful.

Did anyone catch the Dolton mayor on WGN this morning? Wow, just wow. That is some blago level hubris and gall. She will like the fed prison in Atlanta though.

It certainly seems like there’s more than enough for the mayor’s critics to file a complaint with the State Police (https://isp.illinois.gov/CriminalInvestigations/SIUComplaintDisclaimerForm) if the feds don’t get involved at some point.
