Beautiful weekend driving thru Galena area on way to Iowa. Saw a rugby game with our son and met our future daughter in law ( ? ) Weather was outstanding!

Aresenal beat Tottenham, and that was a great way to open the weekend. Cubs continued their winning ways and Illinois catch and release trout season opened. Heck of a start to October.

Amazing weekend. I attended the “Home Free” concert in Peoria, for the Dan Fogelberg Celebration. I also got to hang out at the Dan Fogelberg Memorial Park Saturday, and played guitar for a couple hours with other “Dan Fans.” Great weekend for me.

Great weekend of beautiful fall weather. I attended my hometown Heath Candy Festival and also a Wine Fest in Palestine with a (surprisingly) non-country cover band. With my proximity to Indiana television stations, I didn’t get to see Da Bears game…. but after seeing the “highlights” I figured I saved 3 hours and did productive things instead.

How about those Illini? First win in Madison in 20 years.

Only downside was having to sit through all the dogwhistle ads against Mandela Barnes about “crime” during the game’s commercial breaks on the Big Ten Network.

thank you for that beautiful picture. so lovely out now. my only trouble with fall is some of my worst allergies of the year. and the Bears. argghhh. yes, Arsenal beating Tottenham was wonderful. And great to see Coach Ted and Coach Beard in the crowd.

Isabel, that’s a brilliantly composed photo. We’re starting to see some color in the woods of S.IL. I spent part of the weekend coming up with a fire plan. It’s the driest I’ve ever seen.
