Years ago, we were in a restaurant on Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Now closed, the spot marked Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday with a party, a band with Hans and Frank singing and playing accordion.

Near midnight, a priest came to the bar to distribute ashes to the patrons, it could have been a skit on SNL but it was the real deal. Fun memories.

A fave tapas fusion restaurant in the near west burbs. As one whose answer would usually answer “Binny’s” to this question, genuine thoughts and prayers for those similarly situated.
