Teamsters 916 Pro-Tech voted overwhelmingly, 96% of voting members, to authorize a strike against IDOT.

I’ve come to realize Stacy Gates is just like Donald Trump. The only consistency they both have is that they will flip flop their position without concern if it benefits them politically. Absolutely no morals.

The last few days it feels like mid March not early February. OK by me. Maybe the groundhog was right?

I was reading about Groundhog day to try to understand where this checking what a rodent has to say tradition came from. It comes from Germany via the Pennsylvania Dutch. In Germany, apparently they used a badger. Can you imagine being the person who has to grab the badger and pull him out to see how he reacts. Maybe German badgers are more chill?
