A tad surprised that McLean Unit 5 didn’t call for an e-learning day when they prepped for it given how many of the kids are from the country, but thankfully we live close to my son’s school so it wasn’t an issue for us.
Also, looking forward to Bloomington’s ECHL team name to be announced. There’s apparently a rumor for Bloomington Bison based on a Twitter account by that handle that was made about a month prior to the ECHL awarding a franchise here.

After digging two people out of snow drifts last week, I got to dig myself out this morning when I slid off the driveway path onto the drifts in my yard.
It’s sort of like going to a cardiologist and finding out that your heart if fine at 65. Invigorating. So much so you cannot believe the amount of cussing you can do if you only try.
Made it to class on time, which is what truly matters. The snow will melt. Education must go on.

Sunny today going up to double digits above zero here in beautiful DuPage County. This reminds me of winters when I was a kid. Maybe I’ll get into a snowball fight this afternoon?
