I will regret this but the meteorologist predictions that we’ll have a relatively dry mild winter has me feeling down. I need some snow in the middle of all this grey.

I’m fine with snow too once it is cleared from all paved surfaces. There was that year where we had a ton of snow (2014?) that stuck around for most of the winter was really nice to look at once driving was back to normal. I think there was well over a foot of snow that had piled up that year.

Woke up to a dusting of snow here in beautiful DuPage County, which all disappeared by 9:00am. Hoping to see the sun this afternoon. Otherwise nothin’ shakin’ on shakedown street.

NW side progressives clutching their pearls at the “undemocratic process” by which Toro was appointed seem to have forgotten that CPZ was herself appointed by the same process, ie Commitee persons voted.

I saw Scottie Pippen dining in a suburban restaurant. He was really nice to the patrons and staff. He agreed to pose for photos, sign autographs and said hello to everyone who passed his table.
