  1. I was prepared for the three-inch snow here in West Central Illinois, but not for the 18 degree temperature this morning. I had to remember where that winter coat was. Boo-awful cold this morning.

  6. The Catholic Church lacks accountability for the priests who continue to commit crimes against youth. Does the Church have a Jeffrey Epstein problem with certain members of the clergy?

The offender priests should be held accountable and spend time behind bars if they are tried and convicted.

  13. “The offender priests should be held accountable”

Between this incident, and the incident where the other youth pastor was sentenced earlier this year - the problem isn’t just the diocese.

Not one single person has been charged with knowing and hiding these crimes, despite there being a law to specifrically deal with this.

Anyone want to guess how long it will be until that happens, while an alumni of the diocese is also the State’s Attorney? If you answered never, you are correct.

This isn’t even the worst story to come out of the diocese in the past 2 months - it’s just the only one getting any news coverage. No local news is covering these stories either, we have to rely on Chicago news to get this local info out.
