It’s a relatively new change. A couple Members in Georgia are the first I could find (I’m sure Rich saw it, but for others)

“Each ad must be approved by a bipartisan commission before it airs to determine if the content is “official congressional business,” and the ads are required to stop at least 60 days before a primary or general election”

Any opportunity for Bost to lay claim to doing anything in Government distinguishes him from his do-nothing ever opponent.

It seems like this is there to buttress a possible Trump ad that might not be in favor of Bost.
The audience is voters in the GOP primary. If Bost can get semi-cultists to swing Bost, “all things being equal”, then I guess it’s worth the time, it’s better than nothing.
Shocking it’s allowed, but here we are. Incumbency has its privileges

When you say “congressional funds” does that mean taxpayer funds?
I’m asking because if I’m paying for it, I don’t feel like I’m getting my money’s worth if it doesn’t feature Mike Bost being angry at something. But that’s just me.

Perhaps it’s more cost effective than those glossy fliers they send out a few times a year. I can live with it as long as the cost is the same.

Yeah, really disappointed the Republican caucus meetings where he apparently lost it weren’t broadcast. It would probably help him in his race.

The taxpayers aren’t getting their money’s worth out of an overwhelming majority of the MAGA GOP conference and a fair share of Dems.
