We’re getting some much needed rain here today. The sewer gas has been terrible lately because there isn’t enough water in the sewers to trap the gas. Hopefully this solves that.
If you haven’t experienced the smell, consider yourself fortunate.

Interesting article in the Wall Street Journal today about the north/south divide in England with physicists using AI to determine where the dividing line lies. Reminds me of the north/central/south discussion in Illinois.
Where do you think AI would draw the dividing lines in the state?

CLJ- Here’s one option: North of I-80 is North. South of I-70 is South. Central is everything else.

My high schooler just received a P-EBT card in the mail. Coming from out of the blue, and out of state, with little information about what it is, why we are getting it, or how it is used, it had all the hallmarks of spam or identity theft and we almost reported it or tossed it. Apparently it was automatically issued to all who qualify, but a heads up from the school sure would have helped.
