With our Tattoone sunset last night, I could tell the wildfire smoke was back. Hopefully we won’t approach what we had last month.

Not much smoke here in West Central, IL. But the tradeoff (approaching 100 degrees) is not exactly welcomed. I am going to have to put off clearing debris from the derecho, this week. A little rain (a lot actually) would be welcomed.

The smell of smoke while working in your garage will always been unsettling for the first few moments.

Can’t imagine what this summer must be like to live in Canada.

Friendly Bob, bad baseball is exactly the]at. With 100ish games left, teams in the Midwest are really bad this year. A 6 hour drive or less from Springpatch (in any direction), and the best record you can get is the marginal Brewbags 56-45. Others; SOX Bad, Cards Bad, CUBS less bad, Royals ridiculously BAD. Let the fire sales begin.
