Beautiful day downstate, though a bit cold.
A terrible tragedy on I 55, yesterday.

I know they have to work the fields when conditions are right but last night driving home in southern Sangamon County I saw farmers still tilling and kicking up huge dust clouds. This was only a few miles from where the I55 tragedy. Not sure what they were thinking.

West Central is beautiful, this time of year. A bit chilly, and windy as heck, but beautiful. Not aware of any significant news in my neck of the Prairie, save the flooding of the Mississippi.

Of all the people GMA could interview, they had to pick Tom Devore? And the GMA person on scene standing next to the wreckage and focusing the cameras on the burned-out vehicles was sickening to watch. Do better GMA, way to rubberneck your own audience. Peace be with all the families who were hurt and died yesterday. That was horrible.

Like the time you pretended 0 was 5, the time you you claimed gas was over $5/gallon and provided a link that showed it was under, or the time you bragged about how well the Republican candidate for LA Mayor was doing when there were still over half a million votes to count?
No lies would be a refreshing change of pace.

Greenville, IL is a long way from Divernon, IL. I suppose the former candidate for AG may have had business in Springfield.
On the other hand, the clip looks more like the stuff he posts of his Facebook. Perhaps DeVore or one of his fawners shopped the clip to ABC so as to get DeVore in front of the camera again.

Sorry to hear about the big accident yesterday.
There are few things scarier than to be driving when visibility drops to zero. You have to hope you can stay on the road, that you don’t hit anyone in front of you and that no one behind you hits you.
