  3. Basking in the afterglow of the truly awful White Sox winning a game at last… an amazing comeback following a typical game featuring poor pitching, poor fielding and bad baserunning.

    I’ll probably make it to at least one game this year with my kids, but otherwise I won’t be providing financial support to the ownership.

  5. So stressed with that 10 run inning on Saturday and anxiety city with that thrilling 9th inning win yesterday. White Sox, I love you but you are taking a toll on me.

  6. Huge pileup on I-55 south of Springfield due to blowing dirt and dust. Described as blackout conditions, 50-100 vehicles involved.

    Between mileposts 72 and 80.

  8. wow that story of Terri Hemmert hitting the floor with that shooting in New Orleans is scary. It’s her friend who got hit but survived. Sad that we have another person who is deeply affected by violence. Powerful voice.
