* It’s Friday! Did anyone else see a rainbow on their drive back up to Chicago yesterday? Anyways, what’s going on in Illinois today?

Not yesterday, but last week I saw a very cool rainbow. Always impressive to see, but photographs never do them justice…

I saw it from my back yard. One of the best angles for a rainbow in awhile. The storm just grazed us and the sun was out the entire time it was raining - made for an exceptionally bright rainbow. Near the end of the storm it turned into a rare supernumerary rainbow.(google it - it looks like a rainbow tunnel)

Who is writing Chicago Tribune editorials these days? Did they turn over the page to ChatGPT?

Just saw the headline about the lessons Brandon Johnson can learn from McDonald’s changing their burgers and buns.

There’s a group on social media that convinced chatGPT to produce a commentary piece in the voice of an editorialist whom we in the thread dislike. It got some of the highlights of his writing quirks, but really missed his sparkling awfulness.
It looks like chatGPT removes personality much like the famed NPR filter on the microphones is alleged to.

have not seen the City Elections Board issue a final cert on the election of 4/4. the counting is over. Brandon’s percentage continued to increase.
