  1. The sun is shining. The tulips and daffodils are still looking great even after the cold temps. Spring really is here, it’s just messing with us a little.

    Proud to be a lifelong IL resident. Retirement is on the horizon and we’ll be staying in IL. We like it here.

  7. wish I could bring tulips inside….can’t have those around cats…as cut tulips continue to grow in water and that’s so interesting, and lovely.

  10. Yesterday left home in Chicagoland burbs in cold wind and snow — arrived in Springfield at 65 sunny degrees. I love Illinois.
