  3. Is there ever talk about expanding the legislative calendar permanently? If it were longer, they could always adjourn earlier.

    I have always found it odd that we treat doing the People’s business as if it is a part-time job. And if we continually run up upon deadlines that truncate the People’s business, perhaps legislators should expect to invest more time in Springfield.

    Just a naive thought.
