Congratulations to the Tribune and Times on their success in federal court that will allow for the public release of the recordings in this case.
Because of their actions the public will get a chance to see how government worked in Springfield.

Coverage of this case by the Trib, Sun Times, WBEZ and right here on Cap Fax has been excellent.
Hopefully the local TV stations will also inform the public, but this trail is really something print reporters have used to show why the press has such an important role to play in our state.
