  1. Between not telling people who he voted for (despite Democrats asking about and reminding people about who Republican candidates voted for in the Trump era) and the old “I intend to serve…,” JB has this whole politician thing down.

  2. That was a mental image I could have done without…

  3. -That JB-

He really is a strong candidate for president. He’s got the money . He’s a governor of a big state. He has a record that many in the Democratic primaries would like.

  4. === Between not telling people who he voted for (despite Democrats asking about and reminding people about who Republican candidates voted for in the Trump era)===

There’s no Republican running for mayor if you hear Vallas.

Vallas has personally identified as a Dem in this race, and by all measures of endorsements and apparatus, Vallas is a Dem.

Thing is, this want for JB to equate a city mayoral race versus the head of a national ticket and party… I mean… did ya forget the MAGA GOP, yes, them, had a whole party platform as…

… whatever Trump thinks or believes…

Is there any Chicago mayoral candidate dictating *the* Democratic national party platform?

Supporting or voting for Trump is endorsing a national platform of inciting violence to an insurrection, racist thinkings, and menacing unsubstantiated conspiracies.

That’s all as a party. Nationally. What that party believes.

As a governor, the highest ranking elected official in Illinois, endorsing would be Pritzker’s projection, not embracing a national narrative.

The Jesse White endorsement, the most popular politician in all of Illinois is the big deal to politics. I’d look at that as significant to the race, the party’s most popular, and relationships that go way-way back.

  5. Good old Cermak. He’s probably my favorite Chicago mayor. He won against the allegedly corrupt and probably crazy Big Bill Thompson, last Republican mayor of the city.

  6. Over the years I have wondered this and with admissions by several of the presenters saying they make up things and now Rupert Murdoch explaining he was in wacky meetings of liars and then the information was presented, how is Fox News allowed to use the word “news”?

  7. = The Democrats’ SOS Candidate Keeps His Options Open =

When I saw that headline in the NYT, for a second I thought they were talking about the Secretary of State.

  8. The process to look at the allegations against Clevinger looks detailed. Hope it is correct because the mother of his child was on a Chicago sports talk show talking all about it several days ago. Hoping he’s not a problem for the Sox off the field. We need the arm.
