Over the weekend I learned that Nexstar and Comcast are in a carriage dispute. And if an agreement is not reached by the end of December their stations will be pulled from Comcast lineups until the situation is resolved.

In Springfield/Champaign this includes WCIA-3 and WCIX-My 49. Both stations had scrolls over the weekend telling viewers to call Comcast. Other Nexstar Illinois staitons are WMBD Peoria, WHBF Rock Island, and WTVO-WQRF Rockford. Plus WGN and NewsNation.

That’s a real generous and thoughtful thing Dave Clarkin is doing, much respect to him, my thoughts too on this sad anniversary of the passing of his mother.

Hey Stuck. If you cut the cord with comcast and get broadband internet and stream your tv you can save anout $100 a month and get faster internet, exactly what you want to watch, and higher picture quality on your tv. And you won’t have to care a whit about losing channels.
