  1. Why is there regret coming out of your oven, Seymour?

  2. It’s like “end days” over on the Tweeter Machine?

    “… any fool can knock down a barn”… sumptin’-sumptin’

To the WGN Safe-T Act bit,

The pushback (or fact checking?) that is going to be required until the trailer bill(s) is/are passed will be a chasing of the narratives and thoughts that aren’t adding to a clarity but continuing the “what if” or “it could” kind of click bait?

  3. How do mountain lions cross large bodies of water like the Mississippi?

  5. BCOSEC

There are parts of the Mississippi you can darn near wade across.

  6. BCOSEC. Mountain lions are good swimmers.

  7. Seeing what is happening at Twitter reminds me of a former Governor’s quote before he won the office; “I’ve been successful at everything I’ve ever done.”

  10. I understand PQ’s reasons, some stated and some left unsaid, for not running for Mayor.
Still thinking he would have done a good job as Mayor of Chicago.
Best wishes to him on his chosen path.

  11. And now suddenly I’m consumed wiht the question, are mountain lions like people, i.e. do they look for fords, easier places to cross rivers? Are there standard paths they take?
Also do we have proof the mountain lion walked and didn’t simply hop a ride on a freight to get there?

  12. That Ozinga story is a riot. Definitely not mining the main material our business requires, just think it would be cool to carve a warehouse out of solid limestone.

  13. That 42nd Ward race gonna be a doozy….

  16. BCOSEC- I found tracks in Adams County years ago just at the top of the an old rail siding area by the Quincy Parks and Rec office. Told the a staffer, and they were unconcerned. Said it was probably a young roaming male, and he might have crossed on the rail trestle over the river.

  17. A story about my alma mater always draws my attention. Plus a mention to former Gov Horner - at least in reference to one CPD’s parks with decent league ball fields. Good luck to Mr. Kahn.
