* Press release…

U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) today released her final ad in her campaign for re-election to the U.S. Senate. In the new ad, Illinoisans highlight why they’re supporting Duckworth on November 8 for a second term in the U.S. Senate.

Everyday Illinoisans including Beth, a member of Painters District Council No. 30, Jimmy, a Veteran, Dawn, a community leader and David, a firefighter show their support for Duckworth—a leader like them who overcame hunger, worked her way through college and served her nation in uniform before serving Illinois in the U.S. Senate.

Duckworth’s prior ads from this cycle highlight her work to hold big corporations accountable and save working families money, the importance of protecting women’s reproductive freedom and her work to support and grow Illinois manufacturing and production.

  2. A. Good closing ad. Good voter on the street endorsements for those making their decision in the last week. Lots of positives wout being preachy.

  3. Underwhelming, exactly like her entire political career.

  4. It’s a B+

    If this is your closing argument, ask me for my vote.

    As an ad? As an ad, it’s pretty solid in :30 seconds to tie who she is and what she stands for, but as a close, it feels more like a second round intro ad, “you know her, this is who she is”

    It’s a B+

  5. It’s a nice ad but could have been much better as a closer. It should have addressed more broadly why *everyone* would benefit from her winning the senate seat–not just vague community leaders, first responders, union members, etc. Also, a mention of what she’s accomplished in her first term would probably have been useful. Rating B.

  7. A+.

    Better than anything created by the “play by the rules” group.” Most of theirs are geared for the Mainstream Media and are not accurate with poor acting and grammatically incorrect syntax.

  8. Good ad and close, and a family member in my house instantly responded that her “chip” ad was the best one all year and one of the few that connected. In the clutter of a bunch of “funded by (insert extreme exaggeration)..” and “abortion..” and “hellhole, crime…” ads that at this point nobody is paying attention to this type of ad actually can break through.

  9. That’s a weird opening line. B-

    Better as intro ad than as closer; and yes her chip ad was outstanding

    As a closer it wanders around with random people that basically say “I like Tammy”….

    Of course any objective person will realize her backing of Biden’s policies such as shutting down Keystone and kneecapping American energy independence is directly related to the economic mess we are in. Energy prices impact every aspect of the American economy. Raising interest rates won’t reduce inflation - lower energy costs will.
