Remember that week five years ago. Spent 4th of July in Springfield even though House couldnt get enough members there that day to even convene session. Fortunately, we are in better financial position 5 years later

elections now past the mail in ballot time so thinking they have gone final. many have asked for a source for the state central committee posts…is there one? any runoffs?

Thankfully Pritzker and DGA were woke to Griffin’s destruction with Rauner and were very proactive in stopping such a dreadful thing from happening again, the deliberate sabotage of the state due to the loathing of working class protections.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 5 years. We’ve come a long way. It’s good to be reminded of those who helped get us out of the ditch and those who were perfectly content in staying there.

We just got back from an out of state trip over the 4th. My relatives were horrified by the mass shooting and worry about us. They urge me to move, I reassure them while isolated incidents occur, overall, we are safe in Illinois.
