  1. Today’s weather here in the Springpatch area is God’s way of apologizing for April.

  2. Incredibly worried at the potential for a far- right takeover in Idaho if Lt. Gov. McGeachin wins today.

  3. I agree with @Give. The weather is perfect, spoiled only by the black flies and the constant hum of lawn mowers.

  4. A truly great day here in beautiful DuPage County. If we could have a few more each year it would be wonderful. It would also not be Illinois…

  5. Great weather for an outdoor concert tonight in Uptown Normal. American Idol finalist Leah Marlene is in town to make a video about her home town to be shown on Sunday’s 3-hour final. She is visiting her former high school, Normal West, during the day.

There is a Welcome Home parade at 6:00 pm to be followed by a concert starting at 7:30 at the Uptown Circle. Should be quite a party.

  6. Sitting in my back yard having big thoughts…when a bird flew over and pooped in my coffee…My wife said it was a cosmic comment.

Don’t take life too seriously or you’ll miss the funny parts.

  7. My Arsenal blew a golden chance at getting Top 4 in the Premier League, as they lost 2-0 to Newcastle. Now, a Sp*rs loss and an Arsenal win Sunday will get the Gunners Top 4 and Champions League.

Arsenal will be playing in Europe again next season, likely in the Europa League.

  8. == The latest contribution from Uihlein brings his contributions to Bailey’s campaign to more than $6 million. But that still pales in comparison to the competing largesse from hedge-fund billionaire Ken Griffin, who so far is bankrolling Irvin’s bid for governor to the tune of $45 million. ==

I’m rich. Let’s buy me an election, oh, and the guy/gal that goes along with it.

    Illinois: 2022.
