* I switched back to an iPhone from an Android model over the weekend. Still having some transfer issues and having to relearn some things, but it was a necessary move. I’m not looking back.
* The Question: What mobile device do you use and have you recently considered switching or not? Explain.

Once upon a time I switched from a Blackberry to an iPhone and hadn’t looked back. If Android ever catches up to iPhone then I’d consider switching. Better yet if any other hardware manufacturers could catch up to Apple at all!

Always been an iPhone person. I love how it syncs with my laptop and even my television. I get a new one every two years by waiting for the newest one to come out and I get the one it is replacing.

Personal use - Samsung Galaxy 20.
Work - iphone 7?
The 2 don’t mix. They are tools, the interface is not much different. Don’t care about the behind the scenes inner workings. Didn’t want to spend extra for apple brand name.

I am and forever will be Android (and PC). I know Apple is supposed to be intuitive but I don’t find it to be, at all.

iphone, latest model whatever that is. I made the switch from android as well. It took a while to get used to the iphone.

Apple IPhone. Syncs with all my other Apple devices and doubles as a TV remote, even when on the road in a hotel.

I am an expert on this now. I just upgraded my iphone 8 to and iphone 12. I much prefer the 12 bigger screen and it is nice. I did not want to learn another system although I could. Att had big sale but be careful. I bought one through them on internet they messed up gave me another line. Then I had to send it back so I could get another one at the local ATT store. This is when buying one on line is horrible. My apple has always been great and I had no reason to fix anything. Phone ok decent price but you have to budget for new Otterbox they are not cheap and I need something good. Good luck Rich I hope you have an easier time than I did the last 3 weeks.

I have considered switching because Apple has better customer surveillance practices, but inertia has kept me from making any moves.

Always had an I-phone. Then again, I also have always used Macs, except when I was at work. Typing this on a 14 inch MacBook Pro.

Always been on iPhones. I doubt they’re really much superior to anything else, but I’m used to how they work, and we have a lot of other apple stuff that it plays nicely with.

iphone 13 which I did not want but was given to me when a local provider caused my previous iphone to crash when they were trying to do an update and data transfer.
The phone does not have a “home button” and takes forever to figure out how to use. Not a fan.

In January switched from Samsung to Motorola. The next phone will probably be Apple as they emit half the radiation.

I run an iPhone SE of some ilk. Like it well.
I have a huge collection of language apps and dictionaries as well as music apps (tuners, metronomes, accompaniments).
I also have an iPad that I can hook up my USB interface to use my 2 XLR mics to record raw audio, then I have a really nice app on the iPAD for processing that (Cubasis 3) also can hook a USB keyboard up and compose music with Doraco.

iPhone all the way. Love the convenience of information and communication instantly crossing from my watch to my phone to my laptop. Given my attention span, this is a tremendous life resource.

My first smart phone was an iPhone 3GS. After that one I switched to the Nexus then Pixel series and never looked back. Significant savings, no significant loss of features, and I prefer the google environment over the Apple environment.
Currently on a Pixel 3, which I got shortly after the 4 was released to catch the lower price. I’ll probably be upgrading at some point this year as I’m just starting to notice slowdowns with newer apps as software continues to bloat.

I use an Android and my traveling partner uses an iPhone. I use Verizon and she uses AT&T. We like road trips off the beaten path. Together we are almost certainly going to get service if anyone can.

Iphone SE. Got the new version last year. I prefer the smaller size. Fits better in my jeans pocket. I’ve had a iphone since version 3.

Started Android, now iPhone. Much happier now - no huge complaints with Android but everything meshes better with iPhone and I appreciate that Apple is proactive in limiting 3rd party use of my data. Only downside is that the iPhone file directory is less accessible if you want to move files in/out.

I currently have an iPhone XR. I’ve had it two years. My next phone will be another iPhone. I’m familiar with the OS and like how it syncs up with other Apple devices.

Longtime iphone user. I also have a MacBook Air, iPads and a Mac Mini and I’ve been an Apple user since the late ’80s. Call me an Apple cultist, but I like how everything — including email, texts and photos — work and move seamlessly between products.

I absolutely loved my Windows phone. Don’t know why it didn’t catch on. But I say the same thing about Gary Johnson. Went through half a dozen androids, switched to Apple 4 years ago. I doubt I would ever go to anything else.

I have been on both and have come to hate them about equally. I give Google the edge on software/services (maps, email, photos) and Apple the slight edge on hardware and OS. But don’t expect to have fewer headaches post-switch.

Honestly, I moved from Android to Apple years ago. I am now so invested in Apple content/Apps that I have purchased over the years that it would be difficult (and expensive) to switch. Maybe that’s where they get ya.

And the answer is simply Android because it’s Google everything (Gmail, calendar, maps, drive, etc), and Apple doesn’t do that as well as native android. My phone does the all the easy stuff for me, including lately answering calls for me. It pulls events right from email. It tells me when I have to leave to make it to my next meeting on time.
The only point of having an iPhone would be to FaceTime other people with iPhones.

Switched from a Pixel to an iPhone, primary reason was because of how many people I deal with who use iPhones. It’s amazing how much work Apple goes to to make their products incompatible with everything else. That said, I have a macbook and the integration is great. But with both the macbook and the iphone, everything takes more steps.

I know I’m late to the post, but wanted to say I love this. I miss WordPerfect 3.1…
That said: personal–iPhone, even though I am PC for all my other personal computing. Work–Android, because I have no choice. Just got an “upgrade” on the work phone and it’s making me crazy with glitches. But I suppose it could also be user error…That said, would never consider giving up my iPhone.

iphone12 mini, which is unfortunately still bigger than the original very first iphone. Clearly I’ve been iphone forever, but i’m the weirdo that wants my phone to be smaller, not larger. I consider cell phones to be cameras i can text with.
