Question of the day

Posted in:

* From the comptroller’s office…

Here is the Illinois Office of Comptroller’s weekly transparency report. These reports help the public stay up to date with our accounts payable, bill payment cycle and more. As always, find additional information about state finances at my website: https://t.co/Gw4c9FC4uD #twill pic.twitter.com/m3n0tiFnmC

The rainy day fund was at $22 million a day earlier.

* The Question: What is your one-word reaction to the comptroller’s chart? One word only, please.

  21. 46.5% funded for the pensions is the highest I can recall and higher than 1970 when the state constitution was ratified with the pension protection clause.

    They should really be touting this acheivement.
