Co-host of Chicago’s Morning Answer on AM-560, [Amy] Jacobson said she saw Irvin at a fundraiser hosted by Chicago’s “Common Sense Conservatives” Friday on the city’s Northwest Side.
Jacobson said she had questions for the first time Republican candidate, but he avoided her.
“Richard Irvin walked in, I waited for two minutes and walked up to him. No idea about the show. I don’t think he knows (AM 560) exists,” she said. “He kept avoiding me. I’d go from room to room trying to talk to him.”

AM 560 what? Look at the latest ratings for the Chicago market. The station doesn’t even show up on the top 30 stations. Not what I would call a powerhouse or market leader. A piddling number of listeners….

If she hosted the Radion Shopping Show on WBIG 1280 he might know who she is (one of our two radio stations in Aurora.
Aurora’s city hall is not a long drive from any part of the city so I suspect he doesn’t listen to much AM talk radio Amy or he tuns into McKay in the Morning on 95.9 FM The River (our other station).

Hat tips to Grandson of Man. The good thing is that Rauner/Irvin’s allegiance to the Democratic Party is now making it into chatter around the state. This matters. Republicans are finally waking up to his corruption.

Salem doesn’t subscribe so you cannot see their ratings unless you are a Nielson subscriber. It’s pretty clear that Salem isn’t a radio business, but a marketing company that happens to offer some radio time.
