  2. Awesome. White Sox 3, Seattle 2. Time to get a new jersey but who to get? #7? #79? #88? This team is just so stacked with awesome players and personalities ifs hard to narrow it down to one guy.

  11. Opened my roof windows to get some fresh air this morning; had to run close them when the downpours started. Good news: my office goes back finally on Monday. Was in loop yesterday and it definitely seems busier.

  15. I celebrated a dubious anniversary yesterday. It’s been 10 years, and 50 pounds, since my heart attack. Take care of yourselves, stress and poor dietary choices can kill you, I was only 44 at the time and now I’m in better shape than when I graduated high school.

  23. This StoryCorps conversation is fascinating regarding how a Streets and San employee figured out what was going on with the Chicago flood:

  24. slowly acclimating back to the office (last week 1 day, this week 2, next week 3). It actually does perk me up to see my co-workers again. We have fantastic ventilation, too. And contact-tracing. And health-checks. I am apparently too close to dead for it to get a temp off me. I have to warm my skin first on my hand.

Other than that, nothing new. The protein bars I left in my office last Aug are still good enough to eat so that’s lunch/snack in the office. Financially I’m used to saving money by not buying restaurant/meals etc. during the week so I think I will keep that up for a bit.
