I still think Friendly Bob Adams has the best name on the site.

I have to agree with Keyrock about I still think Friendly Bob Adams.
I started and ended my career with Friendly Bob. For many years he was hanging out on the phone on a sign in front of my office. It’s always a walk down memory lane.

Thanks, Keyrock. Just to let everyone know I can still be reached at Andover 3-2020 to discuss any personal loan needs they may have.

I’m a bit dismayed to see references on the internet to my being a “fictional character”, when in reality I’m as real as the next guy.

Rep. Tom Demmer has filed a bill proposing to combine the treasurer’s and comptroller’s offices.

The consolidation has been attempted more than once, and the argument I’ve heard for it is that it would be more efficient and save money. But what about the reason why the two offices were separated in the first place? Namely, that the state auditor stole more money than Crundwell (in today’s dollars) and in only four years?
