  10. it is stunning that in a game in Detroit it was only the 4th time this season that many of the best players were in the same game at the same time. so many injuries. hoping they keep it together like today, fantastic homers, getting back on track. don’t care how we win, just win.

Comment by Amalia Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 3:30 pm

  11. It was over in the Sox’ division a long time ago. Congrats for winning in the division rival’s stadium, if not at Sox Park. Cleveland has been good to Chicago in recent years (see 2016). May this be the start of long-term success.

It won’t happen but a Cards Sox series would be pretty amazing. Esp with a 7th game Cards win.

  25. Love it and believe they will go far, especially with Tim Anderson as the de facto leader of the club.

Kimbrel does make me nervous…not sure if that trade was good or not.

  26. Congrats to the Sox. My team, the St. Louis Cardinals are on a real tear 12-game winning streak! Here’s to a Cardinals/Sox WS, which would be very good for Illinois.

Comment by Coco Thursday, Sep 23, 21 @ 8:43 pm

  27. The Sox success can be explained in two words: Tony Larussa. He is in the Hall of Fame for good reason.
