Cubs trading Joc Pederson… not great news… because in return they picked up a first baseman.

With a minor league first baseman in the wings, and picking up another first baseman… Anthony Rizzo’s days might be numbered.

Great to see the ball club making moves… not trade Bryant (while he’s hot), Contreras, and Rizzo. Don’t lose them like they lost Schwarber… for nothing.

If anyone told me a week ago I’d be listening to Captain & Tennille’s version of Muskrat Love today, I’d be like, huh? But here I am, enjoying Tenille’s warm “smiling” voice and keyboard playing. The chirping solo of mating is a bit disconcerting, but funny too. Didn’t know she sang background on some Pink Floyd Wall tracks.
