* Got home from session at 4 this morning, finished writing the subscriber edition after 6 and I’m now going to bed. Use the live coverage post and yesterday’s blogging to catch yourself up if you need it and talk amongst yourselves. The House has adjourned to the call of the chair and the Senate convenes at 11 this morning.

Going to be a nice day. After I get breakfast, I get to go fight with SoS over the incorrect car title they just sent me. Then I need to mow the lawn before the rain tomorrow.

I’m shocked the Majority party ran out of time to pass the must-do bills of the Spring Session, but they somehow found time to pass gerrymandered maps. Priorities.

Channel 20 yet again can’t get their facts straight. This time the misinformation was courtesy of the 5:30 newscast on Fox 55 which 20 produces.

On a report about last September’s WIU dorm room shooting, they referred to the dorm where it occurred as “Thomas Hall” instead of Thompson Hall. And showed stock pictures of two other buildings on the other sides of campus from Thompson Hall on the northwest end (Tanner Hall in the East Quad; the University Union). No picture of Thompson Hall.

This bothers me because I have attended WIU.

Macomb is the same distance from Springfield as Champaign but yet Channel 20 gets a Champaign and Danville story over 100% accurate, but yet seems to not get facts straight on news from Springfield and western parts of the 20 and 55 viewing areas (which can include the Macomb area).
