For anyone in local government please see HB453 that Senator Harris passed yesterday: every taxing district with a $5M levy or more must make a good faith effort to collect and publish data on their minority- women- and veteran-owned business spending. It would be great to see lots of local governments (including school districts) take this new law as an opportunity to innovate.
