I don’t care who it is or who is paying for it. Politicians thanking themselves is not a good look. Kinzinger thanked himself. Underwood thanked herself. Just NO.

Underwood did not “thank herself.” It’s right there in Rich’s text, and it’s really not much to read. It’s an outside group. It would literally be illegal for Underwood to have anything to do with this.
@Blue Dog - It’s unlikely Underwood will be in a competitive district after the re-map.

Rated A for several reasons. Underwood “put politics aside” as the spot says, but Republican legislators couldn’t. Most people support the stimulus, including many Republicans. The message is simple and specific to her district. It’s good to see a Democrat play offense and lead on the narrative. More need to do it.

It should be noted it’s not Underwood running the spots… it’s the PAC.
This idea Underwood is scared is ignoring it’s not Underwood herself making this choice.
Anytime you can tout a partisan win that 75% of Americans support, you do it. Victory lap, worry, education, the bottom line is Trumpkins when faced with a popular bill that will impact actual voters, they were Red. It keeps things fresh as checks are finding they’re way into accounts.

I remember it happened, I forgot already all that was in it.
I remember Underwood supported relief, it reminds me Trumpkins did not.
For that, it’s “ok”

It’s a solid ad. A “B” for being straightforward but not particularly memorable. But perhaps more important than the quality or it’s lacking is that it’s a reminder of what government can actually accomplish. We seem to have lost sight of that. And in some districts we have candidates who sole purpose appears to be doing nothing almost as a means of protest.

I have been reading thru much of this bill. Thus far I can find about $500 billion in what I deem as unnecessary . But heck, what’s a few hundred billion amongst friends….but I wish more than anything that all that money would have stayed here in the U.S.
