The state is right to keep the restrictions that have been responsible for improving our Covid numbers in place until many more people have had a chance to get vaccinated. They are what got us to these good numbers we’re seeing. Don’t let the re-open now screamers bull you, governor.

I agree with PublicServent. We can’t afford to go backwards now. Reading an article from Center Square and listening to a clip from Darren Bailey about a free people. Makes me cringe to think these people can’t see the work done has saved lives across the State.

Seabrook should be remembered for being a huge part of the three cups in Chicago. It’s not his fault the Hawks saddled themselves with a massive contract he would never live up to.

The room respected the heck out of him. His teammates loved him, that’s all you need to know about #7.

I agree with PublicServant above. While I do think we should have a roadmap out, and start discussing it, I am okay with it being a cautious one, and we should wait until more people are vaccinated before we significantly start easing restrictions. The incremental approach is the right one. The re-open now screamers and the Darren Bailey sorts should definitely be disregarded as the cranks and crackpots that they are.

Some of the Blackhawks’ greatest moments involved Brent Seabrook: the game 7 winning goal in OT at the UC against Detroit to advance to the Cup in 2013, and an OT winner against Boston in that Cup series.

Springfield’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade, originally scheduled for Mar. 13, is now cancelled for the second consecutive year. This time, there’s hopes for rescheduling it to Oct. 16.

Surprised they didn’t consider moving it to Oct. 30 (the Saturday and day before Halloween). Since in my opinion St. Patrick’s Day is nothing more than basically “Halloween in March” while Halloween is “St. Patricks Day in October” for the local beverage establishment industry.
