It is so sad to watch how far the Blackhawks have fallen during this “rebuild”. A lifeless team that has look badly overmatched in their first four games. No continuity on offense, and nobody qulified to play the goaltender position. Knew this might happen, but I sure hope the young kids they are working with develop or we are in for a few very lean years (good thing there are so many great channels to binge series on nowadays- into season three of Game of Thrones right now

Mike Singletary is being interviewed for the Bears defensive coordinator job. We can only hope he gets hired. Singletary would bring back the Buddy Ryan “46″ blitz defense that was the staple of the Bears 1985 Super bowl championship team.

“Mike Singletary is being interviewed for the Bears defensive coordinator job.” He was a great player. His record as coach has been so-so. So I guess that makes him perfect for the Bears.

Flying Elvis, a pressure defense run properly will work in any era. Still the same game with 11 players on each side of the ball. More importantly, Singletary will bring discipline to the defense.

Nothing like the Bears hiring another famous player as “Coach”, then hamstringing him with questionable players and management decision-makers. I hope Mike realizes it’s not 1985, and the Bears are who we though they were for a reason in 2020.
