Wondering if “Under My Thumb” would be a more appropriate pick considering how much The Speaker will be trying to pick up the last few votes he needs to retain.

After the Speaker’s decision to close off reporter access to the lame duck session, I also wonder if another possible weekend song could be Paul McCartney and Wings’ “Let Em In.” (1976).

Merry Clayton sang the backup part after being awakened at home and showed up at the studio pregnant and her hair in rollers. She blew the Stones away with her performance…but had a miscarriage the next morning.
