  1. Last week in South Elgin, I pulled into the Sam’s Club gas station. It was very crowded and every single person pumping gas was maskless. Today, I puled into the Sam’s Club gas station in Addison. One person without a mask about 20 feet away. As I was pumping some two ton Tessie pulled up to the next pump and got out, no mask. No attendant in site either time. We agree about restaurantas while gas syayions have no supervision whatsoever. I’m going to send an e-mail to Sam’s Club telling them why I’m not shopping there anymore, but I doubt they care. And people wonder that cases are rising? Maybe some closures would convince merchants to follow the rules. Don’t close everyone. Just the ones who won’t enforce.

  2. 5581 hospitalized is big. If I read the data right at IDPH it’s the highest number in all of the pandemic. Still haven’t reached ICU peak from 1st wave numbers but guess it’s coming sooner rather than later.

For those who refuse to wear a mask indoors (and we all know there are plenty of “those people”), it’ll be IMPOSSIBLE to get them to wear one outdoors.

  6. You don’t need a mask outside at a gas station. Please.

  7. JB acted like a leader early in this mess when numbers were low and fear was high.

Now when the virus is actually knocking on our door JB is doing some poor leading. Sad. He definitely bamboozled me.
