My sincere best wishes and hoping for a speedy, easy, and full recovery.

My fear was come fall we will find the spread here growing even at a faster rate than what is happening now, as bad as in the Spring. I’m so saddened that my fear is being realized.

Just a random thought for the morning: Rauner’s “best and brightest” were absolutely ridiculed for their performance not matching their hype. But Pritzker’s brain trust gets paid twice as much (supplemented with his own private funds) and they grossly under-performed on “Fair Tax”. Silence on that seems…..odd.

Really? Are you not reading?

The Pritzker Crew is getting an earful.

The difference is… Rauner’s Crew was bent on hurting Illinois as much as possible, designing their plan to collapse Illinois.

Pritzker’s Crew, far more noble, is trying to save Illinois.

You can fault things on execution of plans, but the difference in goals of their plans, Rauner trying to destroy a state will get harsher blowback when it fails because fighting to save Illinois from them included loud rebuke.

There’s no silence to the happenings with the Fair Tax.

After the covid-19 numbers for the last several days, I’m really dreading today and tomorrow.

At some point within the next 24-36 hours, we are going to go over 500,000 cases. Already 10,007 lost lives.

And we haven’t even gotten into the upcoming holiday trifecta, or an extended period of cold weather…

It’s such a beautiful morning here in Central Illinois. Sorry to be such a downer…

This morning Politico has Cheri Bustos as a second tier contender for Secretary of Agriculture, Tammy Duckworth as second tier for Veterans Affairs, and Rahm Emanuel as second tier for Transportation.

John Shimkus congratulated Biden/Harris on their win over the weekend on his Facebook page and stressed the importance of a peaceful transition of power. Good for him. He was predictably roasted in the comments, though. My favorite is the one who threatened to never vote for him again.
