Has anyone seen the Durbin commercial where Trump shrinks and goes into Durbins’ hand. What did you think of it? Can someone post a link to it because I have heard of it but not seen it and what I heard was not flattering. Curious to see it for myself.

No but I saw the Durbin commercial where’s hes Maskless within 6 feet of several people offering to buy a drink….

happy that the conversation around manager for the Sox does not include the smarmy Joe Maddon. But not happy it includes former cheaters. you can do better, Sox.

Heard someone recently remark that Dick Durbin seemed really sharp for 75 in comparison to our other elderly national political figures.
I have thought so far he has done a good job on the ACB hearings but I hope he does not try to hang on as long as the Feinstein-Leahy-Grassley types.

It took an hour and forty-five minutes to cast an in person early vote. Long lines to gain entry to the polling place.

Hen of the woods mushrooms (maitake) are flushing like crazy right now here in southern IL. Just finished cleaning over fifty pounds - and that was just from 3 trees. I forced myself to stop picking. Probably my favorite wild IL mushroom. Yes I like them even more than morels!

I’m sure it will be discussed on here tomorrow, but Bernie’s got the scoop in tomorrow’s SJ-R (tonight online) regarding Rodney Davis’s father’s residence on the west side of Springfield (but within LaHood’s 18th instead of his son’s 13th). While being elected a 13th district delegate.
It’s also running in the Decatur Herald-Review (it’s hit paywall right now as a “subscriber only” story in the SJR).
