  5. Large bag of homegrown tomatoes from my buddy Tony. Jar of local honey from Chef Mike at Maldaner’s. Illini Super Sweet corn. Not very heavy, but bulky enough to fill a large suitcase.

    Beyond that, I’m good to go.

    There really isn’t much other than the obvious (clothes, computer, etc) that I would want to bring,, Most of the stuff I love here can be shipped

    Five pounds of Al’s Beef. Few loaves of Fazio bread. Couple of Aurelios pizzas. Gallon of Chili from Dublin Pub. Couple of growers of LieferBrau beer. Fannie May mint meltaways.

  16. I’d take two dozen ears of Keller’s sweet corn from Collinsville.
    Two pounds of cheese sauce and four half baked pepperoni pizzas from The Home Plate.
    Top it off with two Growlers of Wee Heavenly from Hand of Fate. I may have a few pounds left but I’ll need to pack everything well for the trip.

  20. A pan of eggplant parm from Tufano’s Vernon Park Tap. 10# of beef from Al’s. Some Italian Ice from Mario’s on Taylor Street. A dozen slices of Margarita pizza from Pompei. And a case of Lagunitias Lil Sumpin. If necessary, will eat whatever I have to on the way to the airport to get it down to 50#.
