Betsy Dirksen Londrigan’s ComEd lobbyist donors are back in the headlines.

Which raises the question: Will Betsy give back the thousands of dollars the corrupt Magidan-cronies donated to her campaign?

Doesn’t make what they are saying about BDL untrue….

And the links go to donations by the actual lobbyists not the PAC, such as Mike McClain so the ties to Madigan are much closer.

The NRCC has to be one of the most genuinely stupid organizations in politics right now. There never seems to be an attack or nickname they’ll pass on.

That’s the type of nuance that really cuts through the noise and imbeds right into the mind of most voters. You must work for the NRCC.

Modern scholarship on campaign attacks suggests the first attack gets the benefit of the argument even when a solid response is offered by the attacked. There are long term consequences to being the initial attacker, regardless of the response. It is known as the “sleeper effect” and has been discussed and identified by academics.
Maybe folks on this blog shouldn’t so quickly fall back on conventional wisdom when looking at political situations.
In campaigns, at most, only 50% of the candidates win. The same is true about the accuracy of the opinion on this site.
Half of the people are right about half of their ideas half of the time.

I thought the D Trip was the dumbest organization ever, but now Im leaning to the NRCC as someone mentioned above. Way to go, Carly.

After such an abysmal quarter for Davis, I’m surprised the NRCC isn’t yelling at Davis rather than Londrigan. Someone needs to get Davis’ campaign a kick in the rear end and get their finance operation off the ground. She’s cruising right past him in the money game.
