Now that figures are starting to roll in for cannabis sales, it would be a great time to introduce a bill that restricts distribution of any funds generated from cannabis sales being restricted from being distributed to areas that are prohibiting sales.

There needs to be a carrot-and-stick in place to discourage what is becoming a patchwork of different laws across the state.

Pretty looking amount on the south side. Nowhere near as bad as we thought. of course, that didn’t stop people from driving worse than usual this morning.

Be careful out there folks, Springfield area roads and streets are not in the best of shape. Layer of ice under a couple inches of snow that hit after 2 AM.

Most Sangamon County schools and lots of daycares and special needs programs are closed today.

So like video gaming and Chicago. They should not receive any funds for projects from the 2009 Capital Bill because they opted out of video gaming. Not going to happen.

1) Marijuana & Gaming revenues, freedom, and fun
2) Pritzker talking up ethics reforms in the SotS address
3) White Sox, BABY!

I made the mistake of watching a Bulls game the other day… so…. Who’s ready for baseball? Sox are gonna be, at the very least, interesting this year. Haven’t thought that in a while.
