Not so much a story as much an odd detail at the top of today’s Playbook:
The quiz at the top that led Kapos to “realize I need to beef up on my science” was created by the The Global Warming Policy Forum, a subsidiary of the Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF). The GWPF is a British lobbying group organized around climate change denial and reversing pro-environment public policy. The quiz was clearly tilted to cause skepticism about climate change.
An odd choice of quiz to highlight, if I do say so myself.

Not sure how I feel about a Governor having to testify about their rationale for a commutation and/or pardon…With their expanded power on the issue, couldn’t it boil down to “I felt like it.”?

Though I agree that police officers should not be abusing their powers when issuing bike tickets, it appears to me that Karen Sheley of the ACLU is being too dismissive of the danger posed by adults who ride bicycles on sidewalks. There’s no good reason for that practice.

The current situation in Kankakee is very interesting reading. The City fights every FOIA and then the City makes dept heads sign NDAs??? The scandals are never ending.

A few Trump supporters from California went to a Pilsen church to demonstrate about undocumented immigrants. Ironic that they went to rip undocumented people and those helping them at a church. It’s not like the Son of Man cared about the “least of these.”
