Sen. Tom Cullerton enters not guilty plea, will “continue to fight these untrue allegations in court until his name is cleared”

Cullerton's defense attorney, John Theis, pleads not guilty for his client. Aug. 29 status hearing in front of Judge Gettleman.

He has not been processed by US Marshalls yet - after this will be processed by FBI.

$10K unsecured bond. (Not required to put up any money)

Apparently Cullerton will go upstairs for processing. He just passed us reporters by with a bunch of US Marshals. Can’t take photos, though.

  5. “Processed” means prints, photos, make sure there are no active warrants against the Defendant. FBI and US Marshall has separate processing.

    I’d say what I’ll say now;

    He been indicted and arrigned.

    Now we wait for the trial.

    Innocent until proven guilty.

    Rauner was the one who called everyone corrupt.
