Aaron Del Mar: He’s a horrible politician!
Del Mar is now Bailey’s running mate. Bailey, by the way, endorsed one of Del Mar’s opponents for Cook County Republican Party Chair back in April.

State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr is running for the Democratic State Central Committeewoman seat in the 11th District. Current committeewoman Kristina Zahorik isn’t seeking reelection — and is endorsing Yang Rohr, who is out with a list of other endorsements, too.
— Tom DeVore is running for the Republican state central committee, and Congresswoman Mary Miller has endorsed him.
— FAIR GAME: The League of Women Voters of Illinois is endorsing the Fair Maps group headed by political stalwarts Bill Daley and Ray LaHood. Their Fair Maps group is working to get a ballot on the measure aimed at ending partisan map-drawing.
In a statement to its supporters, the Illinois League said it “acknowledges that the proposed amendment falls short of our larger objectives, including map-drawing that is fully independent of the Illinois state legislature. … But given the history of Illinois Supreme Court rulings that limit what citizens may do via referendum, the League is choosing to focus on what voters could gain from the current proposal.”
Subscribers know more about that Janet Yang Rohr campaign. Whew, things are heating up.

Brendan Reilly’s ad is very good. He’s a good Alderman who attempts to do the most for his ward. He’d make a good Cook County president.

Reilly’s ad shows how hard Trump is making it for conservative Dems to run a tough-on-crime campaign.
And, how hard recent crime statistics have made it to run that kind of campaign.

Reilly has the chops to take her out. He surrounds himself with talent and is quick. Out of the box, he addresses some personal problems (Trib story), and I think the ad is spot on. I’ve been harping on JB for saying Chicago doesn’t have a crime problem. Come on. Reilly takes a nice shot at him!

I cannot imagine DeVore not being a member of the Republican State Central Committee. He has earned his way onboard. Having his law license suspended only increases his creds. /s

Yang Rohr is perfect for DSCC. Do nothing, say nothing, lead nothing as a legislator but especially stay silent on corruption. She’ll win in a landslide

Mary Miller endorses Tom DeVore, a dude who had his law license recently suspended for, among several things, abusing the court’s protection apparatus which is primarily designed to protect women from predatory men? And DeVore misused it just to get attention of a woman who was ignoring him? What the heck is Mary Miller thinking? Unbelievable.

Preckwinkle promoted Kim Foxx for prosecutor. That’s reason enough to support a primary challenger in the upcoming primary.
