  1. - Vote Quimby! - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:05 am:

Is that KFan holding that sign?

  2. - Speaking At Will - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:07 am:

And Blagojevich says while looking at that picture…

    …”I dont get it.”

  3. - IrishPirate - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:07 am:

I put together many of the Blago related cartoons from around the country. Just click here and scan for the particular recent posts. There are over 30 toons in 4 different posts so far. Bon Apetit!

  4. - Smelly Cat - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:08 am:

Funny! A State Worker friend of mine called me to tell me she saw this the other day as she was driving by on her lunch break. She also pointed out that many State workers were dancing a jig in the hall ways on hearing the news that GRod was arrested.

  5. - From the Sidelines - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:10 am:

In one downstate Sam’s Club, the news of the arrest Tuesday was announced on the loud speaker and heard throughout the store. Customers started cheering.

  6. - Oberon - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:11 am:

Are we sure this sign shouldn’t be posted in front of the House of Representatives or the Senate Chambers?

  7. - bored now - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:12 am:

not a bad idea. Illinois could use the money. but instead of selling the Executive Mansion for the benefit of Blagojevich’s campaign, how about selling it to benefit Illinois?

  8. - Maggie - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:12 am:

    Very funny.
But you gotta think SNL will not be able the pass this up.
Get the popcorn. This is just too much fun.

  9. - Anonymous - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:13 am:

Is it for sale or foreclosure?????????

  10. - Muskrat - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:14 am:

Sale?!? No, a wise leader like Blago would never walk away from equity. He’d offer a 20-year lease, maybe. Like he tried to do for the lottery. Except now maybe we should call elections in Illinois “the lottery” — the odds of the average guy coming out ahead are about the same.

  11. - Toni H. - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:15 am:

Rich - saw a blip this am with Bill Hemmer and Meghan Kelly about the FBI transcripts being on the foxnews website…I’ve looked and looked, can’t find it…. I thought the transcripts would be of the wiretaps not the complaint… You think they would publish the wiretaps prior to the actual indictment/trial???

  12. - phocion - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:17 am:

    Look, a kitty!

  13. - Slick - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:21 am:

How much is it listed for? $500,000.

  14. - too funny - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:30 am:

Maybe he could hide there. no one would think to look there.

  15. - Pot calling kettle - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:30 am:

I don’t see a kitty. I think it was already sold.

  16. - South Side Mike - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:32 am:

I can see why Blago never wanted to stay a night there. I mean, who would sleep in a place surronded by iron bars?

  17. - VanillaMan - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:32 am:

Does it come with a million dollar heated driveway?

  18. - Central_IL_farm_boy - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:33 am:

Cancel that listing! Governor-in-waiting Quinn is measuring for new drapes!

  19. - wordslinger - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:34 am:

Stewart on the Daily Show lectured kids on the dangers of becoming Illinois governor.

He warned them it now looks live four of the last eight govs will go to jail, while only 48% of murders end with someone going to jail. “The choice is yours kids; become a murderer or become governor of Illinois.”

  20. - Old Shepherd - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:38 am:

    Caption:

“With the Blagojevich family in dire financial straits and the status of Rod’s job in question, Patti continues to work hard as a real estate agent.”

  21. - South Side Mike - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 9:54 am:

    Caption:

“No, no, Rod, it’s the SENATE that you’re selling, not the House.”

  22. - James the Intolerant - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 10:06 am:

I just hope this doesn’t divert all attention from the city and the county. Mr. Fitz needs to keep plugging away there also. Harris might prove helpful in that endeavor.

  23. - Dan S, a Voter and Cubs Fan - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 10:10 am:

The other side of the sign said “honk if you favor impeachment”. There was film of that on WICS channel 20.

  24. - ChgoMike - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 10:26 am:

If “J3″ is candidate 5 who are the other candidates that were being considered? Is it possible one of them might be the one who “blew the whistle” on this scam deal? I heard this morning interest rates for homes will soon be at 4%, the mansion might be a good buy.

  25. - Levois - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 10:34 am:

Heh, the Gov could have made it easier on himself by simply putting the mansion for sale. It would have been unpopular but this would have made more sense.

  26. - Cheswick - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 1:58 pm:

    That is one sweet driveway.

  27. - swngnamss - Thursday, Dec 11, 08 @ 2:40 pm:

This is a friend of mine…
